Jodi DiPiazza, a young girl diagnosed with Autism before her second birthday, was given a rare treat during Comedy Central’s Night of Too Many Stars; the chance to perfom a live duet with singer Katy Perry. Her parents recount her story in the video below.

By age 3 Jodi began intensive therapy at home and through school, where she was able to discover and develop her love of music. Because her parents and teachers took the time to get to know her, understand her behaviors, and encourage her in pursuing what she loved to do, Jodi was able to become a gifted musician even by age 8.
