Adult day services
Adult day direct care workers train against a different set of competencies than a group-home DSP. TES has a CARF-aligned adult day pathway and tracks each staff member against it and your state rules.
The Adult Day Services Direct-Care pathway is aligned to CARF Aging Services standards. It is distinct from the I/DD track. CARF does not prescribe a fixed course list, so the pathway maps competencies rather than claiming a CARF seal.
State rules still apply on top of a national credential. Start with the adult day state requirements.

No. The adult day pathway is CARF-aligned. CARF is outcomes-based and does not prescribe a fixed course list. The pathway maps competencies your program can show.
State guides are at the adult day state requirements index. If your state is still being verified, tell us about your program and we will set up your state adult day compliance pathway.
