Mississippi adult day staff training pathway

Overview

Mississippi's adult day care standards come from the Division of Medicaid for Elderly and Disabled (E\&D) Waiver providers, in Title 23, Part 208 of the Mississippi Administrative Code. All staff and volunteers get orientation at hire and at least four in-service sessions a year. Each employee is trained at hire and every year on 13 required topics, from participant rights to abuse reporting, and staff keep current first aid and CPR.
