Training for Louisiana providers

Louisiana. DSP training built to LDH’s licensing standards, tracked for every employee.

Louisiana’s HCBS provider licensing standards require a 16-hour orientation before direct care and eight hours of training every year; we map every topic and track it per employee.

Every direct service worker requirement, one pathway

Louisiana’s HCBS provider licensing standards name the training every direct service worker needs: a 16-hour orientation before providing care, first aid within 45 days, a competency check, and eight hours of continuing education every year. We map each topic and run the clocks.

How the pathway runs it

Assign the pathway and each new hire is enrolled in the 16-hour orientation at day one, first aid comes due at day 45, and the eight-hour annual clock starts at the hire anniversary and renews every year. Every completion and every piece of external evidence sits in the employee’s file, ready for LDH’s survey.

Who we are

Family-run since 2010, built for human services.

We only serve the organizations that care for people: I/DD providers, adult day centers, assisted living and the agencies around them.

Training & eTracking Solutions was founded in 2010 by Martin Dennis, who spent years insuring human service organizations and saw how hard it was for them to get good, affordable training. Fifteen years and more than two million completed trainings later, the company is still independently owned and family-run, based in Tolland, Connecticut, and serving more than two hundred organizations.

Our pathways are built from each state's own rule, the catalog is NADSP-accredited, and every course is written for the people doing the work, not for a hospital.
