Training for Utah providers

Utah. DSP training mapped to DSPD’s requirements, tracked for every employee.

DSPD’s Community Supports Waiver sets a training grid for every direct support employee — first weeks, six months, then every year — and TeTS maps it, delivers it and tracks it.

Every DSPD training requirement, one pathway

Utah’s Community Supports Waiver names the training a provider must give its own staff: an initial topic grid, CPR within 90 days, a six-month block, then 12 hours of in-service every year, verified by DSPD. TeTS maps each topic and runs the clocks per employee.

How the pathway runs it

Assign the Utah pathway and each new hire is enrolled in the initial grid on day one, with the 90-day CPR and six-month clocks running beside it; on the anniversary the 12-hour in-service opens and renews every year after. Completions, certificates and uploaded evidence sit on the employee record, ready for DSPD’s annual verification.

The platform

The pathway keeps you compliant. The LMS is why agencies stay.

Requirement tracking, a full learning management system, a 770-course library and the tools to host your own training, in one login for every manager and every direct support professional.

Utah compliance pathway

Every training rule the state puts on your agency, as a live checklist per employee — enrolled at hire, renewed on the right clock, evidence attached and ready for the surveyor.

The learning management system

One place to assign, deliver and track all of it: group auto-enrollment, automatic renewals, reminders that chase completions, certificates, and reports your reviewer can read.

770-course library, 23 languages

Direct support, health and safety, leadership and specialty courses for every role, with narration and assessments localized for a multilingual workforce.

Host your own training

Upload SCORM packages, policies and procedures, or build courses in the platform, and roll them out beside the catalog with the same tracking.

DirectCareChat

An AI assistant for the floor: staff ask practice and policy questions and get answers grounded in the trainings they completed.

Migration and setup, included

Your existing training records move with you and map to the pathway, and every new organization gets 15 hours of setup consulting.

Who we are

Family-run since 2010, built for human services.

We only serve the organizations that care for people: I/DD providers, adult day centers, assisted living and the agencies around them.

Training & eTracking Solutions was founded in 2010 by Martin Dennis, who spent years insuring human service organizations and saw how hard it was for them to get good, affordable training. Fifteen years and more than two million completed trainings later, the company is still independently owned and family-run, based in Tolland, Connecticut, and serving more than two hundred organizations.

Our pathways are built from each state's own rule, the catalog is NADSP-accredited, and every course is written for the people doing the work, not for a hospital.
